Sourced exclusively from beautiful plots in Saint-Saphorin, Gamay is blended with a little Pinot Noir. Prolonged vatting and post-fermentation maceration give this wine a fine structure. The Gamay and Pinot Noir grapes in this wine have some new wood, but the main thing is not to camouflage the wine. The nose remains fruity, with berries and forest berries before a silky-smooth texture and a pleasant freshness perfumed by hints of liquorice. Harmony pervades this opulent Saint-Saphorin.
